“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.”                                                        Romans 12:2

This morning I went to church and oh was it ever a great service!! The worship was great and Akin who is one of the leaders preached such a great sermon on pursuing the promises of God in your life which was exactly what I needed to hear right now as I am waiting on God for some huge things now. I am so thankful of how God encouraged and challenged me more to declare His word more and trust in Him more.

Then in the afternoon I went to Sabolciu gypsy village for a couple of hours for church and to spend time with the kids! It was so great to see the kids again and we had beautiful weather to play with them outside too! Today I went to Sabolciu with Dani, Salomea, Andra and our new team from California! It was wonderful to see Ami, Stefanie and Steve again! It was also so great to meet Matt their team leader and Sierra (I wasn’t able to meet Matt’s wife and their baby today). What a blessing to serve with them here in Romania! They will be here for a year except for Stefanie who is here for 6 months.

In the evening I relaxed and enjoyed reading a good book. I actually ended up finishing the book today. I can’t believe that I read it in only eight days and it has 25 chapters! I was just so captivated by this book that I hardly was able to put it down. The book is called “Peace Child”, it’s written by Don Richardson. It is a missionary biography of an incredible story of how God did a huge transformation in the tribes of Sawi people of New Guinea. God gave me a completely new revelation through this book of how incredibility important it is to share the gospel and reach the lost for Christ. It is definitely a must read and trust me once you pick it up you will find it hard to put down!

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
