Today I had such a great day! This morning I went to my friend Cristina’s apartment around 10:00am and I stayed there until 2:30pm. It was the first time I went to her new apartment since she moved after she got married last year. I am very happy for her and her husband that God has given them such a nice place to live and a great neighborhood too. Her husband Adi made a lot of the furniture in the apartment and it all looks really nice.

It was great to see her baby again but it was definitely great to have that time to catch up

Cristina and Andrei.

with each other and pray together too which was such a blessing. I really miss those times when we prayed together when I lived with her and even before that we have been prayer partners pretty much since we first met which was back in June 2007. This is something that I don’t have here in Oradea but I wish so much to have a prayer partner. The friendship that God has given us is such a blessing beyond what I could possibility put into words (she was my first Romanian friend when I moved to Romania and she is also my very closest one too).

At 2:30pm I said good-bye to Cristina and little Andrei and then I took a taxi to the bus station. At 3:00pm my maxi taxi left for Oradea. I arrived home around 8:25pm. It was a very long tiring trip back but the trip to Targu Mures was so worth it. When I got home it was so good to see Minnie because I really missed her this past weekend and she seemed happy to see me too! I’m so thankful that my friend Ioana was able to take care of her this past weekend and she even loves cats so that was definitely an added bonus too. It was the first time that Ioana took care of Minnie while I went away on a trip and I am so glad that everything was fine! What a great weekend it was!!

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
