“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
Numbers 6:24- 26
“The Lord gives strength to his people, the Lord blesses his people with peace.”
I went to Sabolciu gypsy village this morning with the interns (welcome back Kim, Daniel and Madison and welcome Mary Claire and Megan!!), three people from the California team (Stefanie, Ami and Steve) and two Romanians (David and Norbi). Today it was very hot (34c/ 93f) so we played water games outside by the river and hung out with the kids! We all had such a great time and the kids were very excited to meet our interns that we have this summer!
Last year Kim came as an intern and this year she came back as a senior intern (kind of like the leader of the interns). Daniel was also an intern last year too so it is great to have him back as well. Madison came here two summers ago with her church on a short-term team so it is really neat to have her here for a couple of months too! Mary Claire and Megan will just be here for 3 weeks but it is great to have them here as well! Mary Claire came to Romania before but it was before I moved to Oradea and one of the reasons why she is here for a short time this summer is because she is going to Africa for another short-term mission trip with her youth group from her church in July. I’m really looking forward to serving with the interns this summer!!
I went to church this evening and wow was it ever a powerful service! It was exactly what I needed to hear, it was like God gave me a little kick in the butt (I hope it’s okay to say that but I don’t know how else to say it) and told me to stop being anxious and worried about these things that have been on my mind lately but instead just to trust in Him, to have faith and to thank Him for the answers that are on the way. Now I need to put it into practice what God spoke to me today. God is so very good and faithful!
