“The eternal God is your refigure, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you.”                                 – Deuteronomy 33:27a

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”                – Matthew 5:14 – 16

And let there be light! I have light in my bathroom again!! After no having light in my bathroom since Saturday morning I am very thankful to have light again and it really makes me very grateful for having electricity! I am so thankful to God that I have a good landlord and he was able to repair it this morning! I praise God for His favor!

This evening I had a great time at my Monday evening Bible study group. We did a comparative study on darkness and light and then we had a delicious dinner together (we ate spaghetti) that Joy made!

I really can’t believe that I’ll be in Pemba, Mozambique at the Iris Harvest Mission School with all the other students in less than 3 months!! It just completely blows me away to see how God is bringing this dream and vision that He has been burning on my heart over the last 6 months to pass!! God is so very faithful! Here is one of the songs that Iris Ministries has on one of their CDs. You can get a taste of their music here! Really great tunes!!

N’rymaka – Neto Eleuterio

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
