Today is Canada’s 145th birthday! Happy Canada Day to all of my family and friends in Canada!

“No one is like you, O Lord; you are great, and your name is mighty in power.”  Jeremiah 10:6

“Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the Lord loves rests between his shoulders.”                        Deuteronomy 33:12b

Just shy of two months when both of my parents and my brother Jonathan will be inRomania (they arrive on August 31). I’m very excited for their week visit here on the first week of September!! I haven’t seen them in over a year so I’m looking forward to our time together.

This morning I went to church. It was a great service. Akin (he’s one of the leaders) spoke on the ministry of the angels. It was a great message and I learned a lot. Then in the afternoon I went to the Sabolciu gypsy village and wow was it ever an incredible time that we had there! In fact it was probably one of the BEST Sundays that we have had in a long time! First we all went inside the church where we had a time of worship, Ami told the children a Bible story and then we took the children outside to spend time with them while the adults had their service.

Ami had a really great idea of praying with the children so we decided to split into two

Children in Sabolciu.

groups to pray which went super well and some of the kids even prayed on their own too and then we played games with them. It was so awesome and the children’s behavior was so great too! Oh, and there were more adults at the church too which was really encouraging! I praise God for the amazing time that He gave us in the village and for filling our hearts with encouragement too! God is so good!!

This evening I got an e-mail from my Romanian teacher Laura. I honestly cannot believe the result that I got considering how stressed that I was yesterday! I got 99.65 points out of 120 points so I am very happy with the result! Thank-you God for the good result that I got! I just praise you God for all of your goodness and mercy!
