“And my God will meet all of your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”                                                                                              Philippians 4:19

Today I read through the student manual for the Harvest Mission School that I’ll be going to and I felt a bit overwhelmed by all of the details with going to Africa but then God gave me really great news! I spoke to my friend Ioana who will be staying in my apartment and taking care of Minnie (my cat) for me. She offered to pay for all of my bills (water, electricity, TV, internet, etc) while I will be away during that time. Wow, I didn’t expect that at all! This is very encouraging and it’s awesome to see how God is providing for me in this area for my apartment while I’ll be in Mozambique!! God is so good!!!

Today I finished another really great book called “The Hungry Always Get Fed – A Year of Miracles” and it’s written by Rolland and Heidi Baker. Wow, this was so very inspiring to read of all of the amazing testimonies and miracles that are happening in Mozambique right before I got there! By the way, if you were ever wondering why I have been reading so many of these mission books lately it is because they are either on the required or recommended lists for the Harvest Mission School. All of them have been so very inspiring to read and I highly recommend them to you!

This evening I went to the volunteer meeting from 6:00 – 8:00pm for the orphan camp that will be next week. There is a lot to prepare. This Sunday (July 8th) we will leave for camp, and then the kids will come on Monday. It will be a camp for a week in the mountains. Please pray for God to bring a transformation in the kid’s hearts that will be there, thanks!

“Each one of us is what he is in the eyes of God, nothing more, nothing less. We all have been created in the image of God to love and be loved.”                          – St. Francis

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
