“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” – Luke 10:2
Today I went to Arad with my friend Ioana and her friend Dani joined us too. It was quite a tiring day because we had to travel there by bus two hours there and another two hour back to Oradea. The appointment at the doctor’s office went well but boy did my arms hurt after that!
I got four vaccinations today for Africa (Hepatitis A & B, Tetanus & Diphtheria, Typhoid and Meningitis). I am so thankful to God that it is much cheaper to get my vaccinations done here in Romania compared to doing it in Canada. I can’t believe that I only paid $16 USD for my malaria pills and $158 USD for the four vaccinations shots that I got today. I am glad to be able to save some money but my arms still hurt!
I have a huge prayer request and if you can help in anyway please, please let me know ASAP! Today, on my way to Arad my friend Ioana told me that she now cannot stay in my apartment and take care of Minnie my cat for me when I will go to Africa from September 26th to December 8th, 2012. I was speechless when she told me this because I was totally not expecting this at all. This is a very big concern for me because I cannot leave my cat alone for 2 ½ months.
I need someone to stay with Minnie in my apartment when I’ll be in Mozambique. I will even pay my rent and bills. I feel like everything is trying to stop me from going to the Harvest Mission School but I believe with all of my heart that it is God’s will for me to go. Please pray for this because this is extremely important that I get this resolve and if you could help or if you know anyone that could help please contact me ASAP. Thanks so much!!
