“I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it. And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.”                                                                                     Mark 10:15 -16

This morning I went to church at my Bible study leader’s church and then in the afternoon I went to Sabolciu. We had church in the village this afternoon. It was so good to see everyone again especially after not being there for 2 Sundays. The worship time was awesome and we had some good teaching both for the children and the adults. I couldn’t believe that there were three girls that fought over holding my hands today! Oh, and I was very surprised that one of the families gave me a bag of plums (2 kilos) to take home with me! They are just so sweet and so very kind! 🙂

Today I started working on the schedule for when my parent’s and my brother Jonathan will be in Romania. I can’t believe that they will be here in just 19 days already!!

In evening I watched the closing ceremony for the summer Olympics which was hosted in London. It started at 9:00pm London time zone so 11:00pm in Romania. Even though it was late here in Romania I still wanted to watch it and I’m glad I did because it was really good and I especially enjoyed it when they had Stomp in it!!

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go.
