“My soul finds rests in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.” Psalm 62:1-2
Wow, Africa is becoming so surreal more and more because today I got my visa for
Mozambique along with Peter as he also got his too!! This morning we took the train into London from the town that Peter’s family lives and we spent the day in London. I’m so grateful that Peter’s Mom was able to come with us today because I think if we didn’t have her with us we might have gotten lost in that massive big city. The city was also busier than usual because today there was a parade for the British Olympians and Paralympics athletes.
We went to the Mozambique embassy right away to hand in our papers and pay for the 90 minute express service. I wanted to charge it on my credit card but for some reason the machine asked for a pin number but I don’t have a pin number on my credit card so then I tried to use my debit card but it still didn’t work. Thankfully Peter decided to just charge it on his card so then afterwards I took out money out of the ATM and then I paid him back. Besides that there weren’t any problems with processing our visas.
After we handed in our papers and paid for our visas we then had a sightseeing day in the city of London which was a lot of fun and we got to see quite a lot! It was really just so much fun and awesome to just being a tourist and seeing all of the sights in London like Big Ben clock tower, the houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey church where Prince William and Katie got married, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, ride on a double Decker bus and the subway or I should say the tube and I even got a Portuguese phrasal book. Oh, and I even saw the Canadian embassy as well! We also enjoyed a delicious lunch too at a coffee shop.
Around 3:00pm we headed back to the Mozambique embassy to pick up our visas. Peter
and I were both extremely happy that we got our 90 day single entry visas without any problems! Thank-you Jesus!!! When I saw my visa in my passport my heart was rejoicing with so much joy and gratitude of how God made it possible for me to be able to get my visa in London and not have to risk mailing my passport from Romania!
Then in the evening we all just relaxed at home and I read one of the books for the mission school. Wow, what a great it was and the weather was great too!
Okay, this is getting really, really frustrating! Something happened to my e-mail account again and I have to recover it again. The only thing is I can’t seem to have remembered who I sent e-mails to within the last week and what the subject lines are so if I have contacted you by e-mail within the last week please let me know and please let me know what the subject line is too. Also, please pray for God’s protection over my e-mail account because it is crucially important that I am able to access people by e-mail when I’ll be in Africa. Thanks so much for your prayers!
