“One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.” Psalm 27:4
This morning my family and I took the airport shuttle service. We left at 11:00am and
arrived around 3:00pm at the Budapest airport. Our flights were not until the next day so we spent the day in Budapest. We called the hotel (Sarokhaz Panzio) where we stayed at to pick us up at the airport and then we went there to check in and bring our stuff there before we explored around the area.
We decided not to go into the city of Budapest because we were all feeling tired from an extremely busy week so we decided just to go to the nearby shopping area and look around there. I
felt a bit disappointed that my family didn’t see downtown Budapest but I understand that they just wanted to relax before we fly out tomorrow. The shopping area nearby the hotel was nice but it sure was interesting to use the Hungarian money because it is a lot different then what we are used to!
In the evening we ate dinner at the hotel which was delicious and the table that was near us even had a mission team so it was really interesting to talk to them and their mission trip was in Oradea, Romania too! Then we all headed to bed around 11:00pm or so (I think we were all tired and just needed our rest!). It was a good day!
When I got back from the road trip with my family I got a post on my facebook wall with great news from the American Centre for Law and Justice. Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani has been released and freed from prison after being held there for illegally for his faith for the last three years in Iran. Glory to God for this answered to prayer!
