“Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.”           1 Chronicles 16:11

Today was the second day of our road trip. We saw and experienced many beautiful sights

along the way. Romania is such a beautiful country! In the afternoon we went to this cave where we had to walk on these rocks over the river. It was a bit tricky and hard to get to but when we got to the cave it was beautiful. My parents didn’t feel comfortable to adventure out to the cave so I went with my brother and Andra and I’m thankful for this Romanian man that “watched” over it. He was travelling with a group of people and since my parents were concerned for us, the people in his group told him to go and make sure we were going to be alright which was so nice of him to do that.

In the evening we arrived at a town called Hunedoara. We passed by this rich wealthy gypsy “village” in the town. It was quite impressive to see how their homes in how fancy they were! We ate dinner at this gas station but it was quite good because we ate schnitzel and French fries. We stayed at another Pensiuna called Casa Tiffany which is like a hotel. I stayed in a room with my brother and Andra and my parents had a room next to ours. It was a good day but a bit stressful at the same time in trying to find places.

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
