A little update from me…

I have wonderful news to share with you! Last Monday (March 24th) I received an e-mail from Ema who is the DTS director at the YWAM base in Cluj. I have officially been accepted to join the DTS team that will be going to Uganda!! Wow, I never dreamed that I would be going to Africa once and now I’m going a second time! My time in Mozambique was incredible and I believe too that my time that I will have in Uganda will also be amazing! I will be writing about my upcoming DTS outreach in my next newsletter that I will be sending out within the next week.

In the mean time before I am able to get my next newsletter out. Here are a few prayer points to pray for:

This is a picture of the DTS class in Cluj.

1) My health for God to bring a complete restoration and healing with my left knee. I also had four blood tests done to see if I have rheumatoid arthritis. Two tests were positive and two were negative. There is a 50% chance that I might have it but I’m praying by faith that I don’t and if for some reason I do I’m believing God for His healing.

2) For team unity especially with my joining the team later that we will all be unified and connected.

3) For God’s protection on the team from any attacks from the enemy. Two of the girls on my team already got sick with laryngitis and my left knee is still not 100% where it should be and even today I experienced a bit of pain when I did my exercises at my physical therapy.

4) For financial provision for the whole team including myself as most of us are still fundraising for it (The outreach will cost 1,500 Euro which is $2,281 CAD). I really want to thank-you for your continual prayers. I really appreciate it so much.

Thank-you again for all of your encouragement and your prayers. I really appreciate it so much.

Blessings,
Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
