Are you desperate for God?

Last weekend I came across a blog entry by a missionary couple (Simeon and Ana Maria Fumey) who are serving with YWAM at the base in Cluj, Romania. I have asked for their permission if I could post their blog link and a few things what they wrote in their blog because I was so challenged by it and they told me that it would be fine with them.

Here is the link: http://ywamce.blogspot.ro/2014/03/welg-story.html

I was especially challenged what they wrote at the end of their blog entry which is:

“I am ending by listing a few question for us to ponder upon:
How is our thirst?
How broken are we?
Is surrender part of our daily walk with God?”

I really believe these questions can be a key to our growth as Christians with our daily walk with Christ because they challenge us to not only ponder but to think and reflect to go deeper with our desperation with the Lord. I personally desire to begin to start asking myself these questions on a daily basis. I do not know if I will be able to commit to remember to do this everyday but I will try my best because I really have a deep desire to go deeper in my relationship with the Lord.

How about you will you ask yourself these questions too? If you thirst and hunger for more of God, if you are broken before Him and if daily surrender to Him then…I believe too that your relationship with the Lord will go to a whole new level with Him as well! So, let’s get desperate and abandon ourselves fully to the Lord with all of our hearts!

Yes, Jesus I hunger and thirst for more of you, I’m broken before you and I surrender every part of me to you! You alone are my Lord, my Savior and my God. I love you so much and you are worthy of all of my praise and my life. So…take me Lord Jesus deeper into the secret place with you and may I live in the overflow of the secret place with you to spread your kingdom and your love whenever I go.
