What an amazing ministry week it has been!

The Crossroads DTS team from Montana came to Targu Mures, Romania to do their

outreach here at the base that I’m serving at for 7 weeks. This team arrived on Sunday June 29th and they will be here until Friday August 15th. There are nine people that are on this team who are from all over the United States (Montana, Ohio, Texas, Wisconsin, California, Michigan) and there is also one person from Canada too (Alberta). There are two staff on the team and the rest are students. They all have been so wonderful and I am so very thankful that God has brought them here to the YWAM base where I am serving at in Romania!

We have been so very blessed beyond what I could possibility put into words that God has brought them to Romania for their DTS outreach at this time. They have encouraged us so much through their prayers, words of encouragement and just their hearts for God especially as they are passionate to reach out to people to share the hope and love that we have in Christ.

The team shared the gospel through these paintings of what Jesus did for us.

They are really an amazing team and it has been really encouraging to see the ministry doors that God has opened up for us during their time here which has been incredible! So far since they have been here we have gone on prayer walks in the city, we went to two Roma gypsy villages (Gornesti and Cold Valley) to love on some precious children, we took part in an open air evangelism outreach in a park in Reghin where there were a couple of concerts and the team shared testimonies and did dramas, two Sundays the team shared in two different churches at their services and we also have been going to a small hospital near the YWAM base to pray for the sick people there.

This past week I was very encouraged with what God has been doing during the ministry

times through this team. On Wednesday morning we started off with a great time of prayer, then we took the team for the first time to the Cold Valley Roma gypsy village/ community for a couple of hours to love on the precious children there and it was really, really great! I am so very thankful that Bea (she translated for me when I did my physical therapy) came to translate for us and it was wonderful to hang out with her in the afternoon. Daniel who is from the team did some street evangelism in the evening. God had set up a very divine appointment because this woman prayed and asked God to send Daniel to her again so she will hear about Christ and then she ended up giving her life to the Lord!

On Thursday morning I went with some of the people from the team to visit the Cultural

Palace and then we went up the clock tower where we got to see a beautiful view of the city of Targu Mures and pray over it as well. In the afternoon I went with Donna who is the team leader to one of the hospitals with Verica to pray for some people there who are sick. It was truly amazing when Verica led two men and two women to the Lord in salvation prayers!! Yes, I just praise God for these new salvation decisions that were made on Thursday! Wow, I just want to praise God for what He is doing and I would also like to thank-you for all of your prayers as well! God is so good!

We have also had some fun times with the team when we celebrated July 4th at the

YWAM base with a Barbecue, we got to enjoy two delicious traditional (one Hungarian and one Romanian) and we went to Sighisoara for a day (July 12th) to just visit the old part of the town where it is a nice tourist place to check out.  Tomorrow I will go to an in touch YWAM camp for a week from Sunday July 20th – Saturday July 26th with the team which I am looking forward to especially to get outdoors in the nature for a week and to soak into some great teachings. After the week at camp the team will be here in Romania for another 2 1/2 weeks. We would appreciate your continual prayers for the rest of the time that the team will be in Romania.

We would also appreciate your prayers for the Targu Mures YWAM base too because as of

right now we have been going through some major spiritual warfare especially with this season of transition that we are in right now and we also really need prayer for our upcoming DTS (Discipleship Training School) that we are planning on doing this year in September. We really need more students and more staff so this school will not only be able to run but it will be the best yet! Please pray that God will touch people’s hearts to take the DTS and also more people will be able to join our staff team. If you are interested in contacting us for more information about the DTS please send an e-mail at: dts@ywam-targumures.com. Thanks so much!

Here is a really great video about the DTS that the YWAM base put together from Tyler, Texas. Please check it out where you can learn more about what the DTS is all about. Thanks!
