A Small Outreach Team

A small team came to the base where I am serving at here in Târgu Mureş, Romania from Sunday April 12th to Monday April 20th. They had five people on their team and there were three different nationalities within their team. In their original team they had 15 people but for this week they split up into three small outreach teams to do ministry at three different locations in Romania. During the time this team was in Târgu Mureş, Romania they did a variety of different things like working with a youth group from a local church, reaching out to homeless people and the Roma gypsy children at the Coming Home foundation and they also spent time in intercession for the city.

For me personally it was such a blessing to have them come to the base where I am serving

Becki and I

Becki and I

at even if it was only for a week because my friend Becki was one of the leaders and it was really great to be able to spend some time with her throughout the week. It was also a real blessing to be able to meet the rest of the people on this team and to hear their hearts that they have for those who are hurting and how it is their desire to bring hope to them. I would love to meet and connect with more people who have a passion to help bring healing and restoration to people who are vulnerable and hurting because they are such an inspiration to me.

About Andrea

I am from Whitby, Ontario. I have lived in Romania for 9 years as a missionary but I am currently in Canada on a sabbatical break at this time. I have also lived in South Korea for a year and I have also been to Russia, Uganda, Albania and the Czech Republic on short-term mission trips. In 2012, God also gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Mozambique for the Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries as well. I love children, reaching out to people who are in need and vulnerable, I have a passion to fight against the injustice issue of human trafficking and to simply share the love of Jesus wherever I go. I also love cats too and I have a cat of my own named Minnie!
